AIIMS stands for All India Institutes of Medical Sciences. AIIMS Medical Entrance Exam is a national level entrance test organized by All India Institutes of Medical Sciences, New Delhi.
It is a group of seven institutions providing MBBS, MD, MS, Nursing, Paramedical, Health Science, etc. Through this entrance exam, the officials will provide 700 MBBS seats offered by participating institutions. The officials will provide admissions MBBS, MD, MS, MDS, DM, MCh, etc courses in the seven participating institutions.

AIIMS 2021 Notification
The All India Institutes of Medical Sciences, New Delhi released the notification to provide the admissions into various UG, PG medical courses. Candidates who want to start their career in the field of medicine can check the notification details carefully. The details of the exam such as eligibility, exam dates, syllabus, pattern, admit card, result, etc are provided below.

Candidates who have completed 12th/Intermediate will reach the minimum eligibility criteria. The eligibility details are different for various courses. So, check the eligibility details carefully and then apply for AIIMS Entrance Exam 2021.
AIIMS Eligibility 2021
The AIIMS eligibility criteria are different for various medical courses. Candidates have to compulsory fulfill the eligibility conditions to apply for the exam.
For MBBS Courses:
Educational Qualification
- Candidates should have completed 12th/Intermediate from any recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English subjects.
- Aspirants have to secure at leat 60% marks for general/OBC whereas 50% marks for Sc/ST candidates.
- Candidates who are appearing for the 12th or equivalent exam are also eligible to apply for the exam.
Age Limit
- Candidates must have completed 17 years as on 31st December 2021.
For PG Courses:
- Aspirants must hold an MBBS degree for MD/MS courses and BDS degree for MDS course from any university recognized by MCI & DCI.
- Candidates should also be completed 1-year compulsory rotating internship/practical training on or before 31st January 2021.
- Contenders need to obtain minimum 55% marks for OBC and 50% marks for Sc/ST candidates.

AIIMS Syllabus 2021
The AIIMS MBBS 2021 Syllabus is based on the 12th standard subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany & Zoology), General Knowledge and Aptitude. AIIMS PG 2021 Syllabus covers the subjects that are taught in MBBS/BDS level. The topics that are covered in AIIMS PG Syllabus 2021 is as follows.
- Preclinical: Physiology, Biochemistry, Anatomy
- Paraclinical: Pathology, Pharmacology, Microbiology, Forensic Medicine, Community Medicine, etc.
- Clinical: Pediatrics, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Community Medicine, and allied subjects etc.
- Surgery and allied subjects: Ophthalmology, Orthopaedics, ENT, Anesthesiology, etc.
AIIMS Exam Pattern 2021
The exam pattern for different courses is as follows.
For MBBS Courses:
- The exam is held in online mode (computer based test).
- The duration of the exam is 3 1/2 hours.
- A question paper consists of 200 multiple choice type questions.
- 1 mark is given for each correct response.
- 1/3 mark is deducted for the wrong answer.

For PG Courses:
- The exam is the online mode (computer based test).
- MD/MS entrance exam comprises of 200 questions whereas MDS exam consists of 90 questions.
- The duration of MD/MS exam is 3 hours and MDS exam is 1 1/2 hours.
- 1 mark is awarded for each correct answer.
- 1/3 mark is reduced for the wrong answer.

AIIMS Admit Card 2021
Candidates can download AIIMS MBBS Admit Card 2021 on 10th May 2021. MD/MS Admit Card is available from April 2021. The hall ticket is not sent by the officials through post/email. Candidates are suggested to download the hall ticket by entering the roll number. Without the admit card, candidates are not allowed to enter the examination hall.

AIIMS Answer Key 2021
Candidates have to download the AIIMS MBBS 2021 Answer Key through online. Candidates can cross check your responses with the exam key provided. With the help of the key, you can calculate your score by adding 1 mark for the right answers and reduce 1/3 mark for each wrong answer.
AIIMS Cut Off 2021
The AIIMS Cut off marks is the minimum cut off which is secured by the candidates to get the admissions into medical courses. The cut off is different for different categories as mentioned below.
- General Category: 50%
- OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 45%
- SC/ST: 40%

AIIMS Result 2021
The AIIMS MBBS Results 2021 declared by the authorities on 18th June 2021. AIIMS PG Result 2021 is available through online from 12th May 2021. Candidates have to check the result through online mode. The merit list is prepared on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in the exam.

AIIMS Counselling 2021
The AIIMS MBBS counselling will start from 3rd July 2021. The AIIMS PG Counselling for MD/MS/MCh/DM/MDS courses will commence from 5th June 2021. The counselling process consists of three rounds. Candidates have to attend the counselling on the basis of the rank/score in the exam. Aspirants have to report at the venue on the allotted date & time.
The following certificates are required to attend the counselling process. In case, candidates have forgotten to carry any of the documents they are not eligible to get the admissions.
