1 APECET 2020 Overview

Andhra Pradesh Engineering Common Entrance Test (AP ECET) is the state level entrance exam. The Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Anantapur organizes APECET Exam on behalf of Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE).

JNTU conducts the Andhra Pradesh ECET Entrance Test for the diploma holders & B.Sc (Mathematics) degree holders. The university will provide the admissions into 2nd year B.E/B.Tech courses or 2nd-year B.Pharma courses offered by the universities/colleges in Andhra Pradesh.

AP ECET 2020 Notification

JNTU, Anantapur issues the AP ECET 2020 Notification on behalf of APSCHE. Candidates who are willing to take the engineering courses have to apply online for ECET 2020. The Board officials will release the AP ECET 2020 Application Form through Online. Most of the candidates have already applied. Presently, the application forms are available.

JNTU, Anantapur will release AP ECET Notification 2020 in the month of February 2020. The authorities invite the application forms through online from the interested candidates. The APECET Online Application filling starts from February 2020 and lasts upto March 2020.

ECET Eligibility Criteria

The candidates have to fulfill the following eligibility conditions such as nationality, educational qualification, etc. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online for the Andhra Pradesh ECET 2020 Entrance Exam.

Nationality

Applicants should be the Indian citizen.
Candidates should belong to Andhra Pradesh.
Also, candidates have to satisfy the local/non-local status requirements laid down in Andhra Pradesh.

Educational Qualification B.E/B.Tech/B.Pharmacy courses

Candidates should have passed the Diploma in Engineering and Technology/Pharmacy recognized by the government of Andhra Pradesh. (or)
Applicants must have completed the 3 years B.Sc Degree in Mathematics from a recognized university/institution.
General candidates have to secure 50% marks whereas 45% for SC/ST candidates in the qualifying exam.

ECET Online Application -AP ECET 2020 Apply Online

The AP ECET 2020 Online Application will be available through online from February to March 2020. Other forms of applications are not allowed. Candidates have to apply online before the last date to avoid server issues.

Candidates have to check all the details carefully once before submitting the application form. If candidates have found any mistakes after submitting the form, there is a chance for ECET 2020 Application Correction.

Application Fee

Candidates have to pay the application fee through AP Online Centers or credit/debit card/net banking.
The application fee is Rs. 500/- for the registration process.

Application Correction Facility

The officials have provided the AP ECET Application Form Correction facility through online. The University gives a chance to make corrections in application form in the month of April 2020.

APECET Exam Pattern 2020

The AP ECET 2020 Exam Pattern is as follows. Maths, Physics & Chemistry subjects are common for all the branches and branch subject is separate to all the branches.

ECET Exam consists of 200 objective type questions.
The ecet marks weightage is 200 for all streams.
The exam is conducted for 200 marks.
Each question carries one mark.
The time duration is 3 hours.

ECET 2020 Admit Card will be available online from April 2020. The candidates who have successfully applied for the exam have the chance to download the APECET 2020 Hall Ticket to appear for the exam. To download the admit card, candidates have to enter the roll number & other login details. Then after the downloading process, keep it safe as it is mandatory to carry with you at the date of the exam.

The officials will declare the ECET Results 2020 through the official portal within few days after the completion of the exam. Candidates have to enter the valid login details carefully to check the APECET 2020 Results. In case, candidates who forget the hall ticket number or password, don’t worry contact the officials.

ECET 2020 Cut Off Marks

The Andhra Pradesh ECET Cut Off Marks 2020 are as follows. Candidates who will secure 25% of the total marks in the ECET exam are only eligible to get a rank. That means candidates should get at least 50 marks out of 200 marks. No minimum qualifying marks for SC/ST aspirants.

For SC/ST candidates: Nil

The rank will be assigned to the candidates on the basis of the score obtained in the ECET 2020. The APECET 2020 Rank Card reflects the score, rank, etc secured by the candidates the exam. ECET Counselling 2020
