CAT Exam is most popular MBA Entrance Exam to get the admissions in IIMs and top B-Schools. IIM Lucknow will conduct the CAT Exam in the first week of December 2017 and they will announce the result in the third week of January 2018. In the meanwhile, candidates can know your performance with the help of CAT Answer Key 2017 and after knowing your score check the cut off marks.
CAT 2017 Cut Off refers to the minimum marks or percentile candidates have to score in order to qualify for the next levels of the selection process. Before the exam only, some IIMs will release the cutoff whereas top B-Schools will release after the announcement of the result. The IIMs and top B-Schools will release category wise and sectional CAT 2017 Expected cutoff. Candidates have to clear the sectional as well as overall cut off marks or percentile to get shortlist for further selection rounds (WAT-GD/PI).

CAT 2017 Cut Off will depend on various factors. The various factors determining the cut off marks are provided above. If the difficulty level of the exam is high, CAT Cutoff is low & vice-versa.
- The cut off is over 99 percentile for old IIMs and top B-Schools such as FMS, University of Delhi, MDI Gurgaon, etc.
- CAT Cut Off 2017 is ranges from 90 percentile or above for New IIMs and other top B-Schools.
- Cut Off Marks will range from 80 to 50 percentile for other B-Schools.
