CLAT is popularly known as Common Law Admission Test. It is a national level law entrance exam conducted by the NLUs in the rotational basis. The exam is conducted once in a year in the month of May. It is organised by Chanakya National Law University, Patna.
Through the CLAT Entrance Exam, the officials will provide the admissions in integrated LL.B and LL.M courses offered by the 18 National Law Universities (NLUs) of India.

CLAT Notification 2021
The Chanakya National Law University, Patna is going to announce the CLAT 2021 Notification in the fourth week of December 2021. Candidates who are willing to take the admissions in the law courses have to grab the opportunity to start your career in this field. Also, we have gathered the complete details through this page.
The application form will start from 1st January 2021 and the last date to submit the online application is 31st March 2021. Most of the candidates have already applied for the exam. CLAT 2021 Eligibility
To appear for CLAT Exam 2021, candidates have to fulfil the following eligibility conditions. The educational qualification, age limit, etc are provided below.
Educational Qualification
For UG courses
- Candidates should have qualified/ appearing 10+2 or equivalent exam with minimum qualifying marks as follows.
- 45% marks for unreserved/OBC Aspirants.
- 40% marks for SC/ST Candidates.
For PG courses
- Aspirants must have passed LL.B or equivalent degree with at least qualifying percentage of marks as below.
- 55% marks for General/OBC Candidates
- 50% for reserved Aspirants.
Age Limit
- Candidates must have 20 years as on July 1st, 2021 for general whereas 22 years for SC/ST aspirants.
- There is no upper age limit for the candidates applying for CLAT 2021.
CLAT Application Form 2021
Candidates have to fill & submit the CLAT 2021 Application form through online mode only. The online application form is available from 1st January 2021 to 31st March 2021. So, candidates have to fill the application form as soon as possible to avoid the late fees & server issues.

Application fee
- Candidates belonging to UR/OBC candidates have to submit Rs. 4000/- as the application fee.
- SC/ST candidates have to pay the registration fee of Rs. 3500/- only.
The application fee can be paid through online/E-Challan. The application form is non-refundable under any circumstances.

CLAT Exam Pattern 2021
Common Law Admission Test Pattern 2021 for UG &PG courses us as follows.
For UG/PG Programs:
- The entrance exam is conducted through the online (computer based) exam.
- The medium of the exam is of English language.
- 1 mark is awarded for each correct answer.
- The exam paper comprises of 200 MCQ type questions.
- The question paper is for 200 Marks.
- 0.25 mark is deducted for each wrong answer.
- The duration of the exam is 2 hours.

The Admit Card is available through online from 3rd week of April 2021. After the completion of the successful registration of the candidates, the officials will release the admit cards for the applicants to appear for the test. So, the interested candidates who are willing to appear for the test have to enter the roll number to download the CLAT 2021 Admit Card through online.
Candidates have to carry the admit card along with the photo identity proof at the time of appearing for the exam. It is mandatory for the applicants to appear for the test.
CLAT 2021 Answer Key
The CLAT Answer Key 2021 is displayed on the official site on 3rd week of May 2021. With the help of the key, candidates can calculate the score obtained in the exam before the announcement of the result. Through the exam key, tally the answers you have kept on the day of the exam to get the rough idea of the marks.
CLAT Cut Off Marks 2021
The CLAT Cut Off 2021 is different for different NLUs. Cut off depends on the different factors such as the number of test takers, the difficulty level of the exam, etc. The candidates who will meet the cut off marks are only eligible to get the seats in the NLUs.

CLAT 2021 Result
The CLAT Result 2021 is announced on the 4th week of May 2021. The officials will also release the merit list of the qualified candidates along with the result. On the basis of the merit list only, the officials will invite the candidates to the counselling process.
CLAT Rank Card 2021
After the announcement of results, the CLAT Score Card 2021 is available through online. Candidates have to enter the roll number/name to download the rank card. Due to heavy traffic, the official website will become busy. So, download the scorecard as soon as possible.
CLAT 2021 Counselling
The admissions are provided into law UG/PG programs through the centralised counselling. The seats are allotted for the candidates on the basis of the merit/rank list. The CLAT Counselling 2021 will begin on 1st week of June 2021. Candidates have to pay Rs. 50, 000/- as a counselling fee to take the admissions compulsory in NLUs.
