- GATE 2018 is an Objective Based written test consists of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) & Numerical Answer Type Questions.
- Each MCQ will have four choices.
- There will be no options provided for Numerical Answer Type Questions.
- Students are required to enter the real number in Numerical Answer Type Questions with the help of a virtual calculator.
- There shall be of 1/3rd Negative Marking for One Mark Question and 2/3rd Negative Marking for TWO Mark Question.

GATE 2018 Application Form
Before going to fill the GATE 2018 online application form, candidates should enter the details like Name of the candidate, Date of birth, Stream Name. Upload a Photograph of recent passport size photo along with the signature etc. The candidate should upload the Qualifying Degree Certificates such as Provisional Allotment Order for Completed candidates. For candidates, those who are pursuing final year need to upload a certificate from Principal/head of the institution.
GATE 2018 Admit Card
The candidates those completed the registration process successfully before the last date and are eligible for the GATE 2018 exam need to download the GATE 2018 Hall Ticket from the official GOPAS Website. To Download the GATE 2018 Admit Card, you may have the details like Registration ID, Date Of Birth, Hall Ticket Number, Exam Venue, etc. The GATE 2018 Call Letter is a mandatory Document to carry for the written exam.
