The Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST) organizes IIST M.Tech Entrance Exam every year. This Exam is conducted for admission of suitable candidates to M.Tech Programmes in various courses. As per the Notification, eligible and interested candidates can apply from April 13, 2021. The students who have a desire to pursue PG engineering courses from Indian Institute of Space Science & Technology must note that the admission is done based on GATE 2021. The application form for the IIST Admission will be available from 13th April 2021. The candidates should submit the Application form on or before April 30, 2021.

- IIST M.Tech 2021 Rank Card.
- IIST M.Tech 2021 Admit Card or GATE Admit Card 2021.
- 10th Class Mark list & Certificate or equivalent (As Date of Birth Proof).
- 12th Class Marks sheet & Certificate of passing.
- Transfer or Migration Certificate.
- Category or Caste Certificate in case of reserved category candidates.
- Medical Certificate issued by the Competent Authority.
- Degree or Provisional Certificate.
- Recent Passport size Photographs.
- Photocopies of above documents.

IIST M.Tech 2021 Selection Process
- Officials select the candidates based on GATE 2021 Score.
- Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology decides the Cut Off for qualified candidates of GATE Exam 2021.
- Shortlisted candidates are called for Written Test or Personal Interview.
- Depending on the candidates’ GATE Score & marks scored in Interview, applicants are selected for M.Tech Courses.

- The Officials of Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology selects the candidates depending on their performance in Personal Interview/ Written Test.
- They offer seats to those who qualify in Written Test or Interview as per Specific Programme & Category Merit list.
- Authorities give more preference to the candidates who rank high in IIST M.Tech Merit List 2021.
