JKCET is popularly known as Jammu & Kashmir Common Entrance Test. J & K Common Entrance Test is conducted by the Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (JKBOPEE). This is a state level entrance exam. JAKBOPEE conducts this exam every year to provide the admissions into undergraduate courses in engineering, medical, dental colleges in J & K State.
According to the JKBOPEE, 50% seats are reserved for general candidates, and 50% seats are distributed among the unreserved candidates through this examination. The various courses/programs offered through J & K Common Entrance Test are B.Tech/B.E, MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BUMS, Physiotherapy, etc. in the state of Jammu and Kashmir.

Jammu & Kashmir Common Entrance Test 2021 Details
JKBOPEE conducts JKCET Exam every year to provide the seats in B.Tech/B.E/MBBS/BDS courses to the qualified applicants. The admissions into the Engineering courses provided to the shortlisted candidates of J & K Common Entrance Test 2021 on the basis of the merit list in the exam.
In the previous year, the seats are provided into the medical courses (MBBS/BDS) on the basis of JK CET. From this year onwards, there is no separate entrance exam for medical courses. The officials will prepare the merit list for medical admissions on the basis of NEET 2021 Scores.

JKCET Notification 2021
The JKBOPEE has released JKCET 2021 Notification through online. The online applications are also available now. All the interested candidates who are wishing to join in the engineering or medical courses can check the eligibility for the exam. Candidates who have met the eligibility criteria can fill & submit the application form through online. The starting date to fill the application form is 27th February 2021. The last date to submit the online application is 27th March 2021.

JKCET 2021 Eligibility
Candidates who are applying for the J & K Common Entrance Test have to ensure the eligibility conditions before filling the application form. The JK CET Eligibility 2021 includes the following details.
Nationality
- Candidates must belong to J & K State to apply for the exam.
Educational Qualification
- Applicants should have qualified intermediate/12th class from the recognised board.
- Candidates should possess minimum 50% marks to eligible for the entrance exam (40% in case of SC/ST candidates).
- Aspirants who are appearing for engineering entrance exam have to qualify the 12th with Physics, Chemistry & Maths.
Age Limit
- Candidates should have completed 17 years as on 31st December 2021.
JKBOPEE JKCET 2021 Application Form
The JKCET Application Form 2021 is provided through online from 1st February to 27th March 2021. Candidates have to fill & submit the online application before the last date to avoid the server issues. Before applying, candidates should have scanned copies of the photograph, signature & thumb impression. Also, take the print out of the application form for further use.

Application Fee
The registration fee is Rs. 800/- for all the categories. Candidates have to pay the application fee through credit/debit card/net banking.

J & KCommon Entrance Test 2021 Exam Centers
JKCET Exam is held in Srinagar & Jammu only. The J & K BOPEE will allow the centres to the candidates, and the exam centre is provided in the admit card. Once the test centre is allotted, there is no chance to change your exam centre.
JKCET 2021 Syllabus
The JKCET Syllabus 2021 comprises of Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics. The syllabus for JKBOPEE Entrance Exam is taken from 11th & 12th standards. J & K Common Entrance Test Exam 2021 consists of two papers one for PCM group and other for PCB group.
- Paper A consists of Chemistry & Physics with 120 questions which are common to both the groups.
- The Paper B comprises of Biology which is for PCB applicants with 60 questions.
- Paper C consists of Maths with 60 questions for the PCM group.
JKBOPEE JKCET Exam Pattern 2021
The JK CET 2021 Exam Pattern is as follows. Candidates can have a look at the exam pattern before attempting the entrance exam on the JKCET exam date 2021.
- JK CET Exam is of offline mode (pen & paper based).
- The question paper consists of 180 questions, i.e., 60 questions from each subject.
- Exam paper comprises of objective (MCQ) type questions.
- The duration of the exam is 3 hours.
- For each correct answer, one mark is awarded.
- 0.25 mark is deducted for each wrong answer.

The JKCET 2021 Answer Key is available through the official site. Candidates have to enter the roll number and date of birth to download the exam key. With the help of answer key, candidates can check the answers which are put by you at the time of the exam whether correct or not. If you have not satisfied with any answer provided by the officials, the candidate can attach the documentary proof with the fee of Rs. 1000/- at the POs terminal of JKBOPEE Srinagar/ Jammu.
JKBOPEE JKCET Cut Off Marks 2021
The JKCET 2021 Cut Off Marks is as follows. Candidates have to score 50% in all the three subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Maths. The cut off marks for the students belonging to SC/ST should be 40% of the total marks.
- For Open Merit (General): 50% of marks
- For SC/ST Candidates: 40% of marks

The JKCET 2021 Result is published on the official site in the month of 17th May 2021. After the declaration of the JAKBOPEE results 2021, the officials will prepare the merit list on the basis of performance in the exam. The re-totalling or re-evaluation is allowed by payment receipt of Rs. 1000/- at POS terminal of JKBOPEE Srinagar/Jammu.

The JKCET Score Card 2021 is published through online for the qualified candidates of the JKCET Exam 2021. As the rank card is mandatory for the candidates to get the admissions offered by the participating institutions, candidates have to keep it safe. Also, carry the rank card along with the required certificates at the time of counselling process.
JAKBOPEE JKCET 2021 Counselling
Candidates are called for the counselling after the officials have published the merit list in the JKBOPEE website. The JKCET Counselling 2021 schedule is posted in the leading newspapers in the state and also in the JKCET official website. Aspirants have to carry all the required certificates on the day of the counselling itself. Also, candidates who are willing to attend for counselling have to pay the counselling fee of Rs. 500/- which is non-refundable.
First of all, candidates have to pay the counselling fee, then fill the choices related to courses & colleges of their preference. The admissions are strictly provided on the basis of the merit list made by the authorities.

Note: The JK CET medical admissions are provided to the applicants based on the merit list prepared through NEET 2021 Exam. There is no separate JKCET Medical Exam for the candidates to get the admissions in the medical colleges.
