KCET Counselling 2021
KCET 2021 Counselling plays an important role for the candidates who have completed the KCET 2021 exam. Karnataka CET counselling will be conducted by Karnataka Examinations Authority. KCET 2021 Counselling is a method to allocate the seats to the qualified candidates in the participating institutions. On the basis of the KEA KCET Merit List, candidates will be called for KCET Counselling 2021. All the candidates must attend the KCET Counselling along with the required documents.
The counselling of KCET 2021 will be held in the month of June 2021. The candidates need to attend the KCET counselling process on the mentioned dates and at respective helpline centres. KCET Counselling 2021 will be organized in both offline & online mode. During the KCET counselling session, candidates need to complete the KCET documents verification, registration, option entry and seat allotment process. The option entry will be conducted separately after the completion of the verification of certificates. About KCET Entrance Exam
KCET is referred as Karnataka Common Entrance Test. KCET is a state level entrance exam which is conducted by Karnataka Examinations Authority. Through KCET 2021 exam, the candidates will get admissions in the field of Engineering, Architecture, Pharmacy. KCET exam is conducted every year to provide admissions in the affiliated colleges in the state of Karnataka. The admissions into medical and dental courses will be based on the NEET score. After completion of the KCET 2021 exam, candidates can check the list of documents required and helpline centres in the below sections.
Documents Required for KCET 2021 Counselling
At the time of the KCET Counselling, candidates must carry the following documents for verification purpose. The below list of the certificates has to produce at the time of verification.
- KCET 2021 Application Form Printout
- SSC Marks Memo or Equivalent
- Marks Memo of Intermediate
- Orginal Copy of Challan as proof of payment
- Caste Certificate (for SC/ST/other reserved categories)
- KCET 2021 Rank Card/Score Card
- Recent Passport Size Photograph
- Medical Certificate (in case of Physically Handicapped)
- Residence Certificate
- Study Certificates from 6th standard to Intermediate
- Aadhar Card
- Income Certificate
- Domicile Certificate
- NCC/CAP/Sports/Minority Certificate if applicable
KEA KCET Counselling Procedure 2021
Step-1: Document Verification & Registration
- First, the candidate has to report at the counselling centre on the scheduled date with the documents that are listed above.
- Submit the KCET counselling form and other documents at the counselling centre.
- After completion of the verification of documents, a verification slip will be issued to the candidates.
- The slip contains the key which must be used at the time of choice filling (web options entry).
Step-2: Choice Filling or Web Options Entry
- After completion of the KCET document verification, the candidate should visit the official website and log into the account by using the user id and key that are given at the time of certificate verification.
- Then the candidate should fill the options as per the selection of the candidate.
- Now, click on the submit button.
- After final submission, the candidates will not be allowed to modify the KCET options.
Step-3: KCET 2021 Seat Allotment Process
- The candidates will be alloted a seat according to the merit list and selection of the colleges and courses at the time of web options entry.
- The seat allotment process will be conducted in three rounds.
- On the basis of the merit list and options filled by the candidate, the seats will be allocated to the candidates.
- After completion of first round of counselling, the seats that are vacant to be filled in the KCET 2021 second round counselling.
