KCET Counselling 2018 Dates

The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) will release the KCET 2018 counselling schedule at its official website. The Students must carry the required documents to the Counselling Venue on the allocated KCET Counselling Dates 2018. No candidate will be allowed for KCET 2018 Counselling Process without carrying necessary documents. The Karnataka CET Counselling 2018 process will start in June 2018. So, all the KCET qualified candidates need to attend the Kar CET Counselling with the required documents at the respective helpline centers. The Officials will call the candidates based on their ranks. The certificate verification process will be done in Offline mode whereas Options entry & Seat allotment will be done in Online Mode only. During the certificate verification process, all the candidates must have to submit the necessary documents along with the original copies along with the xerox copies.

After the completion of the verification, the Officials will give a Secrete key along with the certificate submission form. By using the key, candidates may log on to the official portal and lock their choices as per their preferences. After that, the KEA will provide the date to change or update the already locked options. Finally, after the successful submission of the KCET Online entry options, the KCET Allotment order will be published by the Board.

Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) is formerly referred as Karnataka CET or Kar CET or KCET. It is conducted by Karnataka Examinations Authority(KEA), under the aegis of Karnataka University. KCET Exam is conducted in State level to give admissions to UG courses in the field of Ayurveda, Unani, Homeopathy, Naturopathy & Yoga, Engineering, Technology, Pharmacy, and Farm Science.

Karnataka Exam Authority will release KCET 2018 Notification in January 2018. KCET Exam will be held on May 2 & 3,2018. KEA will release KCET Result 2018 in the last week of May 2018. KCET Counselling Dates 2018 will be from 1st week of June to 3rd week of June 2018.

• All KCET 2018 Exam qualified candidates who wish to attend the KEA KAR Counselling should check the KCET Rank Wise Counselling Dates clearly from the Official Site kea.kar.nic.in.
• Check KCET 2018 Counselling Date for your Rank & also Center/ Venue.
• Visit the Karnataka CET Counselling 2018 Helpline Center on your Rank date.
• Submit the Counselling Application Form & Original certificates, when your Rank is being called during KCET Counselling Process 2018.
• Next, you have to Pay the KCET Counselling fee at the time of the Karnataka CET Counselling 2018.
• Keep the KCET Counselling Fee Receipt safely in order to perform web options.

KCET Web Options Entry – Web Counselling 2018 Procedure

• Visit the KCET official website i.e. kea.kar.nic.in.
• Search for the KCET 2018 Web Options Entry Link.
• Now, click on the Web Options Entry Link in order to exercise the options.
• Enter the details like KCET Hall Ticket Number in the required fields.
• Click on submit button.
• Based on your interest, you have to choose the college and branch.
• After entering the Colleges & Branches, save the filled options.
• Now, Submit the Web Options Entry form.
• After few days, KEA Board will declare the KCET Seat Allocation through SMS to the candidates mobile number and E-mail ID of applicants.
• Download the KCET Allotment Order from your KCET 2018 Registration account.
• Report at the allocated college and submit the pre-requisite certificates.

Karnataka CET Web Options Entry Schedule

The options entered by the candidate for the first round of KCET Web Counselling process 2018 will remain same for all the rounds of seat allotment. The Authority does not allow the Students to enter the options again. That means the option entry done before the first round of Karnataka CET Counselling 2018 will be the final list of options. But after the first round of counseling, the candidates are allowed to add new options for any colleges that came into the seat matrix.

KCET Seat Allotment Process

The KCET Seat Matrix issued by the government will be followed for the allotment of seats. The officials will release the College-wise, Category-wise and Course-wise seat matrix on the website of KEA. We all know that the KCET 2018 Counselling will be held in three rounds- First Round, Second Round, and Second Extended Round. Hence, the Seat Allotment will be done on the basis of merit based on the priority of options. During the first round of Kar CET 2018 Counselling, the seat allotment will be done separately for Special Category (Physically Disabled, NCC and Sports Category) and General Category. After the second round of KCET Counselling 2018, if the seats remain vacant, the unfilled seats will be offered as casual vacancies.
