KEAM full form is Kerala Engineering, Agriculture & Medical which is a state level entrance exam. The KEAM is also known as CEE Kerala Exam (Combined Entrance Exam). The Kerala Combined Entrance Exam (CEE) is a gateway for the candidates of Kerala who want to do the higher studies after the completion of the intermediate or 12th. The Kerala CEE exam is organized by the Commissioner of Entrance Examination, Kerala. This exam is also known as Engineering Entrance Exam or Kerala Medical Entrance Exam. CEE Kerala KEAM Eligibility Criteria
The candidates who are willing to apply for the Kerala Combined Entrance Exam have to satisfy the following eligibility conditions is as follows.
Nationality
- Candidates must be the citizen of India.
- Persons of Indian Origin(PIO)/Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) are also eligible to apply.
- Applicants who are interested in getting the professional courses will be categorized as Keralite, Non-Keralite Category-I & Non-Keralite Category-II.
Educational Qualifications
- For Medical Courses: Candidates should have passed the higher secondary or equivalent exam securing 50% marks in physics, chemistry, and biology/biotechnology subjects.
- For Engineering Courses: Applicants have completed the 12th class or equivalent obtaining 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics subjects together.
Age Limit
- Candidates should have the minimum age limit of 17 years as on 31st December 2020.
- There is no upper age limit.
Kerala KEAM Application Form 2020 – KEAM 2020 Apply Online
The KEAM Online Application 2020 is available through online from February to March 2020. Candidates have to fill & submit the application form carefully before th last date to avoid server issues. KEAM Engineering Entrance Exam 2020 Syllabus
The CEE Kerala 2020 Syllabus for the Kerala Engineering Entrance 2020 Exam comprises of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics subjects. The Physics and Chemistry subjects are covered in Paper-I and Mathematics is covered in the Paper-II.
KEAM Medical Entrance Exam 2020 Syllabus
The CEE Kerala 2020 Syllabus for the Kerala Medical Entrance 2020 Exam consists of Physics, Chemistry & Biology subjects. Paper-I covers the physics & chemistry and Paper-II has biology related questions.

KEAM Exam Pattern 2020
KEAM 2020 Exam consists of two papers. The Paper-I consists of Physics & Chemistry and Paper-II consists of Mathematics. The CEE Kerala 2020 Exam Pattern is as follows.
- CEE Kerala 2020 Exam consists of two papers.
- The duration of the exam is 2 1/2 hours.
- The exam paper consists of multiple choice based questions.
- The exam is of offline mode (pen and paper based).
- The question paper contains 120 questions.
- Four marks will be awarded for each correct question.
- One mark is deducted for the incorrect response.
The Engineering Entrance Exam consists of 120 questions in each paper. The exam is conducted for 240 marks. 4 marks for the right answer. The negative marking for the exam is 1 mark for each wrong answer.

KEAM Admit Card 2020
The CEE Kerala 2020 Admit Card is issued through online in April 2020. Candidates can download their Hall Ticket by entering the keam login details such as roll number, password, etc. The admit card will not send through the post to any of the candidates. The applicants have to download through online itself. KEAM 2020 Hall Ticket consists of the exam date & time, exam center, etc details regarding the exam. After completion of the exam, the Aspirants need to keep it safely for future use.
CEE Exam 2020 KEAM Answer Key
After the completion of the exam, the officials will release the KEAM Answer Key 2020 through online mode. Candidates can cross check the answer sheet with the help of the exam key. After checking your answers, candidates can determine that which colleges will provide the seats for that rank. So, candidates have to know the score the minimum cut off marks.

Candidates have to reach the minimum cut-off marks decided by the officials. The aspirants who will not score minimum cut off are not eligible to get the admissions. So, candidates have to score at least cut-off or more than cut off marks to get the eligible for the admissions in the colleges. The cut off marks will vary based on the several factors such as availability of the seats, category, rank & score in the entrance exam.
The officials will prepare the merit list for the engineering courses on the basis of the following criteria. Candidates who have attended the Kerala Engineering Entrance Test have secure 50% in the entrance test and 50% in the qualifying exam.
KEAM Result 2020
The officials will publish the KEAM 2020 Result for Engineering Entrance Exam through online in May 2020. Candidates have to check the results through online only. The authorities will issue the CEE Kerala KEAM 2020 Rank Card for the candidates on the basis of merit list. KEAM 2020 Counselling
The CEE, Kerala will invite the candidates to the KEAM Counseling 2020 soon after the release of the result. The seat allotment 2020 is done through Centralised Allotment Process (CAP) on the basis of rank & choices filled by the candidates. Before attending the admission process, candidates have to download the hall ticket by entering the roll number & password.
Candidates have to carry all the certificates required at the time of counselling for the certificate verification. After completion of the counselling process, candidates have to report to the respective college.
What is new in KEAM 2020
- The admissions for the architecture courses are provided through NATA Exam conducted by the Council of Architecture from 2020 onwards.
- Candidates can also apply for the exam to get the admissions in the medical and architecture courses in the Kerala state in addition to the NEET. But the engineering aspirants have to apply for the exam only to get the admissions.
- The Commissioner of Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala will prepare the state rank lists and Centralised Allotment Process (CAP) for the engineering & medical streams.
- From 2020 onwards, no separate entrance exam will be held to admissions into MBBS/BDS & other medical courses. The admissions are provided for the medical courses on the basis of NEET 2020 score.
