About National Aptitude Test in Architecture

NATA Stands for National Aptitude Test in Architecture which is conducted by the Council of Architecture, New Delhi in India. The National Aptitude Test in Architecture is a National level entrance examination for admission to undergraduate courses in Architecture. The main purpose of conducting this test is to measure the knowledge and aptitude of students for a specific field of study, i.e. Architecture, in areas like drawing and observation skills, sense of proportion, aesthetic sensitivity and critical thinking.

The validity of NATA Score: NATA 2020 Score will be valid only for One Year i.e, the admission for the year 2020-21.

nata.in NATA Cut off Marks 2020 | NATA Qualifying Marks

NATA 2020 cutoff is the minimum qualifying marks or rank that the participants should score to crack the admission for Architecture courses across India. National Aptitude Test in Architecture Cutoff marks varies based on the colleges. The board will announce the Cutoff list by considering various factors like Number of candidates appeared in the Exam, Difficulty level of question paper, Previous year NATA Cutoff marks, Seats available in the colleges, Performance of the aspirants in the Exam. Contestants can also check out their cutoff along with NATA Result 2020-21 on the official website.

Qualifying Marks for NATA 2020

NATA 2020 Scoring Process

National Aptitude Test in Architecture Score Card 2020 contains the aggregate marks secured in the Drawing Test and Aesthetic Sensitivity Test. Revaluation for any section will not be entertained. The Scoring process of both sections is different which is as follows.

Drawing test: It is a pen and paper-based test and contains three questions. Each answer will be reviewed by a panel of three examiners separately. Finally, the average score of three examiners will be considered.

Aesthetic Sensitivity Test: It is a computer­based (Online) test and contains 40 objective type (MCQ) questions. The score of the participant will depend on their performance.

Tie Breaking Rule of National Aptitude Test in Architecture 2020 Result

• If two or more participants secured the same score then the following methodology will be used to break the tie.
• Firstly, prefer the Score of Mathematics.
• A score of Aptitude Test.
• The candidate with less number of wrong answers will get the best rank.
• If still tie exist, then they give the priority to the older age candidate (Date of Birth).

Re-evaluation of NATA 2020 Results

The candidates can submit the request for re­checking of their NATA 2020 Exam Response Sheet. The exam conducting authority will upload the response sheets of the contestants before going to declare the NATA Result 2020. The response sheets of Part A will only be available.
