NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture) is a national level aptitude test. It is organised by the Council of Architecture once in a year. Through the Architecture Entrance Exam, the officials of the council of architecture will provide the admissions into the undergraduate architecture courses. The Test measures the aptitude of the applicants in the field of architecture. This test is the single doorway for the candidates to get the admissions into B.Arch programs.

NATA 2017 Notification is released by the Council of Architecture (COA). NATA Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria for National Aptitude Test in Architecture 2017 Exam includes the educational qualification, age limit, etc.
- Candidates should have completed the 12th/intermediate or any equivalent with Mathematics securing 50% marks.
- Applicants who have completed diploma in any field can apply for the exam.
- Candidates should have the age limit of 17 years to apply online for the architecture entrance exam.
Candidates can attempt the exam five times in the two years from the first attempt exam date. The best score will be taken into consideration while providing the admissions to the candidates.

NATA 2017 Registration – (Applications are closed)
The NATA Registration Form 2017 is available from 2nd January 2017 to 11th February 2017. Candidates have to fill and submit the application form through online. National Aptitude Test in Architecture Application Form 2017 correction facility is available through online from 20th to 24th February 2017.

NATA Syllabus consists of two parts, i.e., Mathematics, General Aptitude & Drawing. The mathematics and general aptitude come under Part-I and drawing will be in the part-II. NATA Exam Pattern
The NATA Exam Pattern 2017 is as follows. The exam paper consists of two parts (Computer based test and pen & paper based test). They are Mathematics, General Aptitude & Drawing.
- The exam is conducted through offline (pen & paper) & online mode.
- The exam paper consists of 62 questions.
- It is conducted for the total 200 marks.
- The exam duration is three hours. First 90 minutes to attempt the part-I and other 90 minutes is for part-II (drawing section).
- No negative marking for the incorrect response.
- In Mathematics & General Aptitude section, two marks will be awarded for each right answer.
The Aesthetic sensitivity test is one-hour online test and drawing test is the paper based test. Aesthetic Test is conducted for the candidates who have appeared for drawing test.

The NATA 2017 Admit Card is available through online on 26th March 2017. It is the necessary document for the candidates who are attending the exam. Candidates have to carry an ID proof along with the National Aptitude Test in Architecture Hall Ticket. The NATA 2017 Hall Ticket consists of the details such as test centre, exam date & time, roll number, etc.
After the completion of the exam, candidates have to keep safely till you get the admissions in the top colleges. To download the rank card, candidates have to compulsory enter the roll number which is present in the admit card.

NATA Cut Off Marks
The applicants of the exam have to reach the minimum cut off decided by the officials of CA. Candidates have to secure at least 25% of the marks means 30 out of 120 in part-I (Mathematics & General Aptitude). Also, obtain 25% of the marks means 20 out of 80 in part-2 (Drawing). The cut off marks for the exam are on the basis of several factors:
- Number of candidates applied & attended the exam
- Qualified candidates in the exam
- Difficulty or easy level of the exam
- Availability of the seats
The cut-off marks may vary from institution to institution. So, candidates have to reach the institution cut off to get the seats in the particular architecture colleges/institutions.
Check NATA Result 2017 -nata.nic.in – NATA Architecture Results
The NATA Result 2017 will be available through online on 10th June 2017. The declaration of the result consists of marks obtained by the applicants out of 200, merit list & percentile score. All the applicants have to check the result by entering the nata registration 2017 number & password.
The COA will take the responsibility or utmost care in evaluating the exam papers, calculating score & declaration of the results. So, there will be no provision for re-totalling or re-evaluation of the answer sheets or calculating scores.

NATA 2017 Score Card is valid only for that year to get the admissions in the architecture courses. Candidates who are willing to get the admissions have to download the rank card through online. Without the rank card, candidates are not eligible to get the admissions in the B.Arch courses. The score card is taken into consideration by the most of the private & government colleges to provide the B.Arch admissions.
NATA 2017 Counselling
The officials will invite the candidates to the NATA Counseling 2017 process soon after the release of the National Aptitude Test in Architecture 2017 Rank Card. After downloading the rank card, candidates have to apply for the further admission process through online. The seat allotment for the candidates into the participating colleges on the basis of the merit list and the counselling conducted by the institutions individually.
