NEET Counselling 2021

NEET 2021 Counselling is a process to provide admissions to the qualified candidates in the NEET 2021 exam. The Medical Counselling Committee conducts NEET Counselling 2021 after the declaration of the NEET 2021 Results. To participate in the NEET Counselling, candidates should register themselves in online. NEET 2021 Counselling provides admissions to 15% All India Quota Seats in government medical and dental colleges across all the states. The remaining 85% seats will be alloted to state quota. i.e admissions in the state medical & dental colleges.In NEET Counselling 2021, the candidates will be given a chance to fill their preferred choices. Then the officials allocate a seat to the candidates by considering the rank, category and options entered. Then the candidates should confirm their seat by visiting at the college.

NEET UG 2021 Counselling

NEET UG stands for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Undergraduate. NEET is a national level entrance exam which is conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education. This NEET exam will be conducted every year to offer admissions into various MBBS & BDS courses offered by various private and government colleges in India. The NEET 2021 exam will be held in the month of 5th May 2021. The results will be declared in the month of June 2021. After the declaration of NEET results, the NEET Counselling 2021 will be conducted by Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), Directorate General of Health Services. Required Documents for NEET 2021 Counselling

  1. NEET 2021 Admit Card
  2. Rank Card/ Score Card of NEET 2021.
  3. 10th Class Mark Memo and Passing Certificate.
  4. NEET Counselling Letter 2021.
  5. Birth Certificate.
  6. PWD Certificate (if applicable).
  7. 12th Class Marks Sheet & Passing Certificate.
  8. Caste Certificate (if applicable).
  9. Two Passport size photographs similar to the photos affixed on the NEET 2021 Online Application Form.

NEET UG Counselling Process

The Counselling of NEET UG will be conducted in the following steps.

  1. Registration
  2. Choice Filling
  3. NEET Counselling Seat Allotment
  4. Reporting at the alloted college

Step-1: NEET Counselling Registration

  1. Visit the NEET Counselling Official web portal.
  2. Then search for candidate login.
  3. Click on that option.
  4. Next click on the New Registration.
  5. Enter your details like Application number, roll no, date of birth, mobile number and E-Mail ID.
  6. Create a password.
  7. Then click on the submit button.
  8. The candidate will receive an OTP to the registered mobile number.
  9. Enter that OTP code and click on the submit button.
  10. Take a printout of the registration slip.

Step-2: Web Options/Choice Filling

  1. After completion of the NEET 2021 Counselling Registration, the candidate should log into the account to fill the options.
  2. Then click on the choice filling option and enter your preferred choices in the order of the priority.
  3. Enter maximum no of options and click on the save button.
  4. Check the filled choices and submit all the choices.
  5. Take a printout of all the options.

Step-3: NEET Counselling Results 2021

  1. After finishing the options entry, the officials release the NEET Counselling results on the official website.
  2. Check the NEET Counselling results by downloading the allotment order.
  3. Also, the candidates will also get an SMS to the registered mobile number regarding the Seat allotment details.

Step-4: Reporting at the Alloted College

  1. The candidates should report at the alloted college along with all the required documents and allotment order.
  2. To confirm your seat, visit the college on or before the last date.
  3. If the candidate is unable to visit the assigned college on or before the last date then their seat will get cancelled and remains as vacant to fill in the NEET second counselling 2021.

NEET 2021 Counselling for 15% AIQ Seats

The Directorate General of Health Services on behalf of Medical Committee Council provides 15% quota seats to the Government medical and dental colleges in India. All Government and private dental and medical colleges have surrendered 15% of the total MBBS/BDS seats for AIQ. AIQ 2021 Counselling will be conducted in many rounds based on the seat availability. From the year 2021, the Telangana and Andhra Pradesh states have also joined in the 15% quota of MBBS/BDS seats. The candidates who have qualified in the NEET 2021 exam are eligible to attend the NEET AIQ admissions.

NEET State Quota Counselling 2021

The remaining 85% seats will be alloted to the state quota in Government medical and dental colleges in the states which will be conducted by the respective state Counselling authorities. The NEET Counselling for both state and national quota will be conducted separately.  Every state Counselling authority releases the merit list on the basis of the NEET score of the candidates.
