About NEET Exam

NEET, generally abbreviated as National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test conducted every year by CBSE(Central Board of Secondary Education) to invite admissions for MBBS and BDS courses. Formerly, NEET is referred as All India Pre-Medical Test (AIPMT). The admission into Medical Colleges will be carried out by Medical Council of India(MCI). In order to get admission into medical colleges, candidates must acquire minimum qualifying mark.

Qualified candidates will undergo counselling and allotment of seat in particular college can be done according to the rank obtained by applicants. The number of candidates applying for NEET Exam is increasing year by year. Applicants who have applied for NEET 2021 have successfully downloaded NEET Admit card from the official website. NEET Score card 2020 for qualified candidates will be valid for this year only.

Exam Analysis of NEET UG Entrance Exam – NEET Exam Result 2021

NEET 2021 Question Paper consists of 180 questions asked from Biology, Zoology, Physics, and Chemistry. Each subject comprises of 45 questions, out of which each question carries FOUR marks. For each wrong answer, ONE mark will be deducted. Therefore, all the candidates should answer only if he/she knows the exact answer to that particular question.

  • Botany – 45 questions – 180 marks.
  • Zoology – 45 questions – 180 marks.

 NEET (AIPMT) Qualifying Percentile – NEET UG 2021 Result

The candidates who qualified in CBSE NEET 2021 are only assigned All India Rank. The qualifying percentile in NEET Exam is assigned to candidates who get higher marks in NEET Result 2021. Hence, The percentile obtained in NEET Exam Result 2020 can be determined on the basis of higher marks secured in All India NEET Merit List 2021.

  • Other Backward Classes/Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe – 40th percentile.
  • Physically Handicapped persons – 45th percentile.

NEET Merit List for Counselling Under 15% All India Quota

The eligible and successful candidates merit list who have opted for 15% AIQ seats will be prepared by the CBSE on the basis of score obtained in the NEET (UG) entrance exam 2021. The list of successful candidates shall be attended to the Directorate General of Health Services (Medical Examination Cell), Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India for the purpose of seat allotment by Online Counselling to 15% All India Quota Seats.
