About National Entrance Screening Test

NEST is one of the national level entrance exams. This entrance exam is organized by National Institute of Science Education & Research (NISER) and UM-DAE CEBS. Through the National Entrance Screening Test, candidates will get the admission into the five years integrated M.Sc programmes. NEST exam will be conducted once in a year. NEST Eligibility Criteria to Apply

Candidates should be passed their 10+2/ equivalent examination in the years 2021 or 2021 from any recognized Board.
Intermediate/ 10+2 Exam appearing in 2021 candidates are also eligible to apply for the exam.
Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics in classes XI and XII are compulsory.
Candidates must be obtained at least 60% marks in aggregate in the class 12th examination.
SC/ ST /PwD categories having minimum aggregate marks of 55% in their examination.
General and OBC category students should be born on or after 1st August 1999.
5 years age relaxation is applicable for SC/ ST candidates.

NEST Registration Fee

Applicants can be paid the application fee through SB bank payment gateway.
They can make the NEST 2021 registration fee payment through Debit Card/ Credit Card/ Internet Banking.
Candidates need to pay the application fee as per their category.
NEST Application Fee for General & OBC (Male) candidates is Rs. 1000/-.
