SRMJEEE 2020 Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must satisfy the eligibility conditions to appear the SRM University Entrance Exam 2020. The Eligibility details include the information like educational qualification, nationality and age limit etc. So, all the interested candidates towards this entrance exam must satisfy the details we discuss below.

Nationality

Aspirant should be an Indian Citizen/Non-Resident Indians(NRI)/PIO holders or OCI card holder.
NRI/PIO holders/OCI card holders can apply through International Student Category.

Education Qualification for SRM University Entrance Test

For B.Tech Programmes:

Contestants should possess the 10+2 or its equivalent examination from any State Board/CBSE/ISCE/Matriculation/NIOS.
For admissions in Kattankulathur, Ramapuram and Vadapalani campuses: The candidates should have secured minimum aggregate marks of 60% in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (PCM).
For admissions in NCR, Delhi campus: They should have secured a minimum 55% aggregate in PCM.

SRMEEE 2020 Eligibility Criteria for B.Tech Biomedical Engineering and B.Tech Genetic Engineering Programmes

The Aspirants must have passed the 10+2 or its equivalent examination from any State Board/CBSE/ISCE/Matriculation/NIOS.
For admissions in Kattankulathur, Ramapuram and Vadapalani campuses: The candidates should have secured minimum aggregate marks of 60% in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (PCM).
For admissions in NCR, Delhi campus: They should have secured a minimum 55% aggregate in PCM.
The applicants who have got the International Baccalaureate (IB) with a diploma or A-level with major subjects as Physics, Chemistry and either Mathematics or Biology qualified from any International school within India are also eligible to attend the entrance exam.

NOTE: Not more than two attempts (including appearance) will be considered for SRM Admissions.

Age Limit

The age of applicant should not be more than 17 Years as on 31st December 2020.

SRMJEEE Application Form 2020

SRM University Application Forms 2020 are available Offline and Online. The application form of SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Exam 2020 for International and NRI candidates is available from October 2020. The applicants can submit the SRM application form either through Online or Offline but not both. Along with the SRM 2020 Application form, aspirants have to submit some details like authentic personal, educational, and communicational details. The SRM University will extend the application form submission date.

SRM Slot Booking 2020 – SRM Engineering Entrance Exam Slot Booking

SRM University will conduct the SRM Engineering Entrance Exam in different slots on different dates. The SRMJEEE 2020 Slot Booking will start in the month of March 2020. After the successful submission of the application forms, Aspirants have to book the slot for attending the exam. The aspirants can book the slots available in multiple days as per their convenience. The Slot Boking process is on the basis of First Come First Serve. After the completion of slot booking process, Aspirants can download the SRM University Entrance Exam 2020 Admit Card which is mandatory to appear the test.

SRMEEE 2020 Admit Card

The University will issue the Admit Card for the students who have done the slot booking. The SRMJEEE Admit Card 2020 are available from Last week of March to 1st week of April 2020. The Contestants can download the admit card from the official website www.srmuniv.ac.in. For every competitive exam, admit card is the important document which the applicants have to carry to the exam. SRM University Entrance Exam 2020 Cut Off

SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Exam Cutoff is the minimum qualifying marks that the applicants have to score to grab the admission. The University will set the SRMJEE Cutoff marks based on the factors like Number of candidates appeared the exam, difficulty level of the paper, performance of the candidates, seat availability. SRM JEEE Counselling Schedule

Contestants who secured the minimum qualifying marks need to attend the SRM University Counselling.
The Authority will conduct the counselling in two phases on different days and in different slots based on their ranks.
SRMJEEE 2020 Counselling will be held Offline as well as Online.
The On-campus counselling starts from 5th May to 9th May 2020 where as the Online Counselling starts from 11th May 2020.
During this srm counselling procedure, contenders need to submit the required documents.
Finally, the phase 2 Counselling will be done for the courses if there are any vacancies.

What’s New in SRMJEEE/SRMEEE 2020?

For the financial year 2020-21, the applicants can appear the test twice to grab the SRM University Admission.
The University will held the first entrance test in the month of April. Again the authority will conduct the second test after the completion of 1st Counselling to fill up the remaining vacancies.
The Application form of SRMJEEE is available only through Online.
The SRM University has reduced the exam venues from 150 to 116.
No Negative Marking for the incorrect answers.
While coming to the Previous Year SRMJEE Cutoff Marks, for Kattankulathur campus the cut off was 65% and 60% for the rest of the campuses. This year, the SRMJEE Cutoff is 60% for Kattankulathur, Vadapalani and Ramapuram campuses, and 55% for NCR, Delhi campus.
The University also provides the scholarship for the top rankers in SRMJEEE and IIT JEE. Also, offers the direct admission for high caliber candidates, sports persons who have played at National and International level.
