TANCET Counselling 2019

Anna University organizes TANCET 2019 Counselling for postgraduate courses in the month of July 2019. The TANCET Counselling schedule will be released after the declaration of the result. The candidates who have qualified in the GATE 2019 exam are also eligible to attend the Counselling of TANCET 2019. The candidates should participate in the TANCET Counselling with all the required documents. Candiadtes will conduct TANCET 2019 counselling in many phases from certificate verification to seat allotment. Based on the number of the seats available in various participating colleges, the authorities will prepare a schedule for next rounds of TANCET Counselling.

TANCET 2019 Counselling Dates

TANCET stands for Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test. TANCET is a state level entrance exam which is conducted by Anna University, Chennai. This TANCET exam is conducted every year to provide admissions into postgraduate courses(M.E/M.Tech/MBA, MCA/M.Arch/M.Plan) in various government and private colleges in the state of the Tamilnadu. Documents Required for TANCET 2019 Counselling

The following are the documents that are required at the time of the TANCET Counselling 2019.

• TANCET 2019 Hall Ticket
• 10 Class Marks Memo or equivalent
• Intermediate Marks Memo or 3 years Diploma Certificate
• Provisional Certificate of the qualifying exam.

TANCET Counselling Registration Fee

The candidates who are participating in the TANCET Counselling must pay the following fee.

• For General Candidates – Rs 300
• For SC/SCA/ST Candidates belonging to Tamilnadu – Rs 150

Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test Counselling 2019 | TANCET 2019 Counselling Procedure

In the TANCET Counselling 2019, candidates will undergo the following steps.

Step-1: Registration for TANCET Counselling

1. TANCET Counselling will be conducted in offline and online modes.
2. In case of online, visit the official website.
3. The TANCET Counselling form will be available in the official website.
4. The candidate has to enter the details like Name, Registration number and counselling centres.
5. Then take a printout of the TANCET 2019 Counselling application form
6. Enclose the relevant documents with Demand Draft and send these documents to the Secretary, TANCET, Anna University, Chennai through the post.
7. In case of offline mode, the candidate can get the TANCET Counselling Application Form from various TANCET Counselling Centres.

Step-2: TANCET 2019 Call Letter

1. After receiving the TANCET 2018 Application form to the authorities, the candidates will receive a TANCET 2019 Call letter.
2. The TANCET Counselling Call letter contains the candidate’s details which are given below.

• Date of the TANCET 2019 Counselling.
• Name, Registration Number
• Overall rank.
• Community Rank
• Counselling Venue
• Counselling Date & Time

Step-3: Document Verification

1. The candidate should choose the seat from the participating colleges list.
2. If the candidate doesn’t satisfy with the alloted college, then they will have a chance of participating in the second or third rounds of TANCET counselling.
3. Those candidates who will not attend the TANCET first round counselling are not allowed for next phases of TANCET Counselling.
4. In the final round of TANCET counselling, the seats alloted are final.
