1 Telangana (TS) ECET 2020 Overview

The Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad conducts TS ECET Exam on behalf of Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE). ECET is a state level entrance exam organized for the students of Telangana & AP states only.

Through the ECET Entrance Exam, the university will provide the admissions into 2nd-year regular B.E/B.tech/B.Pharma courses offered by the universities/colleges of Telangana. The main objective of conducting TS ECET every year is to provide the admissions into B.Tech Lateral Entry and B.Pharma courses. The candidates holding Diploma & B.Sc (Mathematics) are only eligible to apply for the ECET Exam.

TS ECET 2020 Notification

Recently, JNTUH, Hyderabad on behalf of TSCHE has issued TS ECET Notification 2020. Candidates who are interested in joining the 2nd year engineering courses can check the eligibility. Interested & eligible candidates can apply for the Telangana ECET 2020 Exam through online. The TS ECET 2020 Online Applications are available.

The JNTU, Hyderabad has released TS ECET Notification 2020 in the month of March. Most of the candidates are willing to apply for the Telangana Engineering Common Entrance Test to get the admissions into the Engineering courses. Telangana ECET Exam 2020 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who want to apply for TSECET 2020 Exam have to meet the ts ecet eligibility conditions provided below. The following are the eligibility details such as educational qualification, age limit, etc. for Telangana ECET Entrance Test.

Nationality

Applicants should be the citizen of India.
Candidates belonging to AP/Telangana States must satisfy the local/non-local status requirements.

Educational Qualification

BE/B.Tech/B.Pharmacy courses:

Candidates must have a Diploma in Engineering and Technology/ Pharmacy from the recognized institution of Telangana/Andhra Pradesh.
Aspirants should have passed three years B.Sc Degree Exam with Mathematics from a recognized University of AP/TS.
General candidates have to secure minimum 45% marks in Diploma in Engineering and Technology/Pharmacy/B.Sc Degree whereas 40% marks for SC/ST candidates.

Age Limit

There will be no age restrictions for the candidates to appear for the TS ECET Exam 2020.

TS ECET 2020 Application form

The TSECET Online Application Form 2020 is available through online from March to April 2020. Candidates who are willing to apply for the Telangana ECET 2020 Exam have to fill & submit the tsecet online application.

TSECET 2020 Online Application Fee

Candidates have to pay the application fee of Rs. 800/- for general candidates where as Rs. 400/- for SC/ST aspirants.
The payment should be done through AP Online/TS Online /E-Seva/Me-Seva centres or credit/debit card/net banking.

TS (Telangana) ECET Exam Pattern

TS ECET Exam Pattern plays an important role in the exam to crack the exam. Telangana ECET Exam Pattern is different for different streams. The TS ECET 2020 Exam Pattern for Diploma holders, B.Sc (Mathematics) & Pharmacy is as follows.

The question paper consists of 200 questions.
Each question carries one mark.

Telangana ECET Cut Off Marks 2020

Candidates have to obtain the minimum TS ECET 2020 Cut Off Marks to qualify the engineering entrance exam. Aspirants have to secure 25% marks means 50 out of 200 marks in the Telangana ECET 2020 Exam are only eligible to get the rank. There is no minimum expected cut off marks for SC/ST candidates.
