The UPTU Exam is organized by Dr. A P J Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), Uttar Pradesh. UPSEE is a state level entrance exam. Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Exam (UPSEE) is also known as UPTU Entrance Exam. This exam is conducted twice in a year to provide the undergraduate and postgraduate courses in engineering, pharmacy, management & other courses.

Through UPSEE Exam, the university provides the admissions into the UG and PG programs such as B.Tech/ B.Pharm/B.Arch/B.FAD, & other courses. The UPTU Exam is conducted every year by the AKTU to provide the admissions into the first year courses and also into the second year courses.

The candidates will get the admissions into the first year of B.Tech/B.Arch/B.FAD /BHMCT /BFA/ MBA/MCA /MAM/B.Pharm courses through this exam. Also, get the seats into the second year of B.Tech/B.Pharma/MCA courses in the colleges/institutions affiliated by AKTU, Lucknow.

UPTU(AKTU) Entrance Exam 2018 Notification

UPSEE Eligibility Criteria

Nationality

The applicants of UPTU Entrance Test 2018 must be the permanent citizen of UP State.

Educational Qualification

B.Tech/B.Pharm/B.Arch/BHMCT/BFAD/BFA: Candidates have passed the intermediate or equivalent.
For B.Tech (Lateral entry): Aspirants should be engineering diploma holders or B.Sc graduates.
B.Pharm (Lateral entry): Contenders must be pharmacy diploma holders.
MCA (Lateral entry): Applicants must be BCA, B.Sc (IT/Computer Science) degree holders
For MBA/MCA: Candidates have to possess a bachelor degree or its equivalent.
MAM: Aspirants should have passed the intermediate or 12th class from the UP Board or equivalent.

Age Limit

There is no age limit for the applicants appearing for UPSEE Exam 2018.

UPTU Application Form 2018 Process

The UPSEE 2018 Application Form is available through online from January to March 2018. Candidates who are interested in pursuing the higher education can apply for UPSEE Exam by filling the UPTU Online Form 2018 through online. Candidates can start applying as fast as possible. The UPTU Exam Pattern 2018 is as follows.

UPSEE Exam consists of 11 papers.
The questions are of objective or multiple choice type questions except for the drawing aptitude test.
The question paper will be provided in both Hindi 7 English.
Each question carries 4 marks.
The duration of the exam also varies from paper to paper.
No negative marking.
The paper 1, paper 2, paper 3 & paper 4 are of offline (OMR based) test.
Paper 5, paper 6, paper 7, paper 8, paper 9, paper 10 & paper 11 are computer Based Test(CBT).

Marking Scheme:

Each question carries 4 marks and which will be allocated to the candidates those who choose the correct option.

UPSEE Counselling 2018 Procedure

The UPSEE 2018 Counselling will commence in the month of June 2018 to allow the seats to the qualified candidates. The officials will call the qualified candidates to the counselling as per the merit list.Aspirants who have got good rank and marks will get the admissions in the top colleges.

UPSEE Seat Reservation for different Categories

The reservation of seats will be available for the candidates of Uttar Pradesh. The percentages of reservations available to the candidates of different categories will be as follows.

Out of 100, 15% of the seats will reserve by State Government for Management Quota as well as NRI candidates. Non-U.P Domicile – 10% seats in Technology and Architecture courses, are to be filled by the Non-U.P Domicile candidates under upsee 2018. Based on the UPSEE Merit List, these seats will be filled. Even though, it should be noted that the Uttar Pradesh State Government can make changes in this reservation at the time of counselling process.
