West Bengal JEE Marking Scheme
- It is an Objective Based written exam consists of Multiple Choice Questions.
- The test will be conducted in OFFLINE mode.
- Each paper has three categories namely I, II, & III.
- Paper I consists of questions from Mathematics.
- Paper II consists of questions from physics, chemistry, and biology.
- The duration of the exam is 2 hours for each paper.
Category I
- In this category, each correct answer question carries ONE Mark.
- For incorrect response 0.25(1/4) mark will be deducted.
- In case, more than one answer will indicate on the OMR Sheet, the answer will be treated as the incorrect answer, and no mark will be allocated.
Category II
- Each correct answer will earn TWO Marks.
- For an incorrect answer, 0.5 marks will deduce.
Category III
- Each correct answer carries 2 Marks.
